One of the first things we did was see the dolphins.
We saw some flamingos. They are born white and gradually get their color. They also get some of their color from food such as shrimp. They stand on one leg to keep warm. Where you think their knee should be is actually their ankle. Their knee is up high.
We went down through the tunnel to see the sharks. For some reason my grandson is afraid of lots of things, and he was not at all happy about going in the tunnel. Of course, after it was over he wanted to go it again.
This is a picture of a shark that swam right by us.
This one was swimming right toward me. Yikes!!!
The kids were amazed at how large a walrus is.
Of course it wouldn't be a trip to Sea World without seeing Shamu. And of course they like to show off.
It is amazing how well trained these whales are. Even my grandson commented on how well the trainers did.
Can you even imagine these huge creatures flying and flipping out of the water like this?
To finish off our trip they had a special show of Max and Ruby. This was one of my granddaughters favorites!
