What's Blooming?

I love to garden, but since I was sick for a year I have not been able to get back into it like I would like. Everything needs fertilizer, and I need to replant lots of things. Hopefully I will get some of this done for spring.

I am most proud of my Orchid tree since I planted this from a seed. Too many of the leaves have brown on them, and there would be more flowers on it if I had fertilized it. This is not in full bloom. There are still lots of buds coming out on this tree.

This is what the flowers look like up close.

This is one of my baby rose bushes.

Poinsettias are still blooming!

Here are some of the Azaleas.

Hope you have enjoyed looking at my flowers. I would love your comments.

My daughter and I were just saying the other day how much we loved tulips. We can't grow them here. It's to hot.

    1. Hi Judy, Hope you are feeling well.
Thank you for commenting on my blog.
Our soil here in Florida is very sandy. Most everything we plant here needs lots of water, and a little fertilizer.

  3. Hi Judy, New fan here. Hope your medical issue's get better for you. I live in FL and my wonderful husband has made me a garden of joy. I don't get out much do to medical condition's also; but I can see my garden. Flower garden's uplift the spirit and bring joy; at least too me. We have a poinsetta that is 4 yrs old now and beautiful; love yours! Pansy's are over 8" high; which I didn't even realize that they grew that tall. Keep taking clippings off them. Love your mini rose bush; beautiful color and so bushy. My Azalea blooms in two different color's; can't quite figure that one out. Yours is so beautiful; I can't get mine to bloom this year. Anyways, hang in there and you will have that lovely garden come to life.

  4. Hi Maggie,
Thank you for your comment. I absolutely love flowers and gardening! I'm surprised that anything of mine bloomed. I haven't watered or fertilized in a year. Hopefully all that is getting ready to change.
So thoughtful of your husband to have a garden for you to enjoy.
